For the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois’s annual Chicago event, a formal invitation is mailed out to attendees and the invite required Kristin to submit a headshot photograph. The WBAI invite design was set to display a photo of the new President announcing Kristin’s induction in as the 101st President of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
Before that headshot requirement request came in, Kristin already knew she was in need of an update. She wanted a fresh and new headshot look. After asking for a recommendation from a colleague ( Chicago attorney Morgan Stogsdill who is also a photo client of M+M ), Kristin contact us to schedule a professional headshot photo session and portraits in Chicago. She mentioned she saw Morgan’s photos, was impressed, and desired to capture a few similar styled images. We planned for the shoot to have a bit of Morgan’s headshot shoot as an inspirational photography portrait style. Below are a few photos we captured when we met up with Kristin for on location headshot portrait photographs. The shoot began with headshot photos at her firm’s office in downtown Chicago.

Stepping outside for a few outdoor headshot photos often provides for beautiful, soft natural light.
The shoot’s locations matched up with Kristin’s desired stylish + professional look. Hint: A great simple location + professional lighting are key to creating portraits with style on location! From the moment we arrive on site for photos, we are photographers always on the hunt to perfect a headshot by adding in the perfect lighting. We had a great time getting to know Kristin. Her shoot captured quality headshots in a stylish look which showcased her personality & professional successes as an accomplished trial attorney. She’s a Chicago law industry, rising star. Kristin’s favorite image select and winning profile headshot image was 1st published in print within the WBAI’s event announcement and online on the Women’s Bar Association’s web site. Kristin also plans on using her headshot images overtime within law industry marketing, public release, company PR announcements, attorney mentions of various career achievements, advertising, etc. throughout the upcoming years for her Illinois personal injury trial attorney careers internet profiles online.
As the new WBAI President, Kristin was given the oath of office by the Illinois Supreme Court Justice at 103rd Annual Installation Dinner event taking place at the Palmer House Hotel Chicago. Invitations were sent out to invitees of the WBAI annual dinner. The dinner is one of the most well-attended events in the Chicago legal community, drawing over 800 lawyers, judges and dignitaries. In addition to Ms. Barnette McCarthy installed as its incoming president, the Officers and Directors for 2017-18 were also sworn into the WBAI.
