What location and headshot style will work best for you? Many times, whether Suburban or Downtown, the perfect stylistic Chicago area outdoor headshot location is conveniently located right outside of each of our client’s office doors. If Downtown Chicago, take a few steps outside of Chicago’s business Loop for portraits distinctively Chicago-esque and very environmental with the buildings, skyline, or walk to iconic locations near Chicago’s Riverwalk.

Whether urban Chicago or suburban, we always suggest a tip of considering a less busy shoot location, perhaps outside near your corporate office. Does your office have a private terrace or beautiful landscaped courtyard? Open to traveling a few miles to a park for a natural organic setting with trees and nature? Tip #2: Always consider how the setting illustrates your personal brand. If you are looking for bold, trendy attention for your brand, consider a bright painted colored wall or art mural. Want a classic or architectural background, go with vintage brick alleyway or portrait on the steps of Chicago’s iconic architecture. Prefer the simplicity black & white photos or want little to no color, go with a neutral outdoor background, choosing a neutral shade of a black & white wall around town.
